ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund Acquires Producer Catalogue for The Lumineers, Vance Joy, and Shania Twain

(September 2023 – Calgary, Alberta) The ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund acquired a catalogue of songs and royalty interests from multi-platinum chart-topping record producer, songwriter, and musician, Simone Felice. The catalogue acquisition includes rights to The Lumineers’ last three hit albums, Cleopatra, III and Brightside, Vance Joy and Shania Twain’s newest album, Queen of Me.

Simone Felice is the in-house producer for the Grammy-Award nominated band The Lumineers. He has also achieved success collaborating with a wide range of artists, including Rick Rubin, The Avett Brothers, Matt Maeson, Lana Del Rey, Vance Joy, Jade Bird, Shania Twain, Billy Ray Cyrus, Bat For Lashes, Rhodes, Noah Kahan, Conor Oberst, and Phoebe Bridgers.

Simone contributes to The Lumineers’ success not only as a producer of the last three records, but also as a cowriter of numerous songs on those records, such as “Cleopatra”, “Angela”, “Remington” and “Reprise”.

The Lumineers have over 23 million monthly listeners on Spotify (more than stadium folk rock legends such as Bruce Springsteen, The Beach Boys, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan). The Lumineers are finishing their 2023 international tour where they played 52 shows in Turkey, Spain, India, South Africa, USA, and Mexico.

“We’re honoured to add the outstanding work of Simone Felice to our expanding portfolio. The Lumineers are one of the best and most popular folk rock bands in the world,” said David Vankka, lead Portfolio Manager of ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund. “Rock collectively has grown the most of any genre year over year in consumption terms predominantly from catalogue and continues to be in the top three most consumed genres worldwide.”
