ICM Asset Management Invests in Third South Carolina Industrial Development
(Calgary, AB) – ICM Asset Management is pleased to announce its partnership to construct Spartan Valley Logistics Center, a Class A distribution facility in Spartanburg, SC. Spartan Valley Logistics Center will be the third project ICM has done with their partner, The Rooker Company, in the submarket and follows the successful on-budget delivery of Phases 1 and 2 of the Spartan Ridge Logistics Center.
“We said it in 2018 with the start of Spartan Ridge, and it continues to be true today. The Greenville-Spartanburg submarket is an area we want to be in,” said Spencer Patton, ICM’s Managing Director. “The Rooker Company has proven time and time again to be a premier development partner, and we are excited to continue working with their excellent team.”
Spartan Valley Logistics Center will be a 294,840 SF multi-tenant industrial logistics center on a 26-acre site. Situated between Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC, the property is strategically located in the Greenville-Spartanburg submarket. Located minutes from Interstate 85, the site will allow tenants to serve multiple communities in the 85-corridor while benefiting from the proximity to the Inland Port Greer and the Port of Charleston.
The Greenville-Spartanburg region remains rooted as an industrial market leader in the Southeast. Market fundamentals continue to strengthen, with the overall vacancy rate decreasing to 6.9%, the lowest figure in 11 quarters.
