ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund Secures Rights to Tracks by Multi-Platinum Artist Alan Walker

(February 2025 — Calgary, Alberta) The ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund is proud to announce its acquisition of a catalog from award winning Norwegian songwriter and producer, Jesper Borgen. The catalog is anchored by tracks from multi-platinum EDM artist Alan Walker, with revenue streams stemming from publishing and PRO income.
At the heart of the acquisition are three globally recognized hits:
- “Faded” (2015) – Over 2 billion streams on Spotify and charting #1 in 22 countries. Winner of the Cannes Lions International Creativity Award and nominated for British Single of the Year. Certified 3x Platinum in the U.S. and 11x Platinum in Sweden
- “Sing Me to Sleep” (2016) – Nominated for Norwegian Song of the Year
- “Alone” (2018) – Over 1 billion views on YouTube, also nominated for Norwegian Song of the Year
The timing of this acquisition aligns with Walker’s ongoing tour across the United States, with an international leg spanning 18 shows later this summer, further solidifying his global appeal and streaming momentum.
“Jesper has spent the last decade crafting songs with a global reach. He’s looking forwards to the next chapter of his career, partnering with ICM to preserve those rights for the future. He wants to thank all partners involved throughout this process”
