ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund Has Acquired Writers Share and Co-Publishing Royalty Rights to The Exclusives

(Calgary, Alberta) ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund is pleased to announce it has acquired an interest in the writers share and co-publishing royalties of The Exclusives, a top R&B and hip hop songwriting and production team who have collaborated with notable artists such as The Roots, DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg and many others. 

The Exclusives started their musical projects in Florida co-writing the song “Never Window Shoppin” for Lloyd’s King of Hearts and were mentored by R&B Legend Betty Wright. 

The transaction includes royalty rights to over 130 songs from major artists including August Alsina, DJ Khaled, and Layton Greene.

“We are excited to be adding exposure to hip hop through an established writing and production team,” said David Vankka, lead portfolio manager. “R&B and Hip Hop is the largest streamed genre in music and the acquisition builds on our commitment for the portfolio to be diversified across different musical genres.”

Revenue will be earned from platforms like Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud, Pandora, Sound Exchange, iTunes, Amazon Music and many others as a result of owning the acquired producer rights.
