ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund has acquired rights to the Grammy Award winning, platinum certified album Look Up Child by Lauren Daigle
ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund is pleased to announce it has acquired certain copyright and royalty interests to the Grammy award-winning, platinum-certified album Look Up Child by Lauren Daigle. The album burst out of the box, debuting at No. 3 on the Top 200 Albums chart making Daigle the first female artist to simultaneously hit the Top 10 on both Billboard’s Pop and Christian Billboard Album Charts. Lauren has often been compared to Adele and we are excited to watch her continued career trajectory.
The catalogue was acquired from 2 time Grammy and 8 time Dove award-winning songwriter and producer Paul Mabury. Paul has co-written songs for All Sons and Daughters, Lauren Daigle, Tim Timmons, Jason Crabb, Elevation Worship, Amanda Cook, Meredith Andrews, Vertical Church Band, Desperation Band, Dara Maclean and more.
Daigle has earned seven Billboard Music Awards, four American Music Awards, ten GMA Dove Music Awards and sold-out concert venues all over the world. Lauren’s single “You Say” broke records spending 113 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs. Lauren has over 5.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 2.3 million YouTube subscribers. Her songs have been streamed more than 855 million times on YouTube.
The acquisition included rights to 40 song titles including 3 songs that have received a platinum award. The Album “Look Up Child” was also rated as a Top 100 Album of the decade by iTunes. Other Albums included in the deal included rights to “Behold” and “How Can It Be”.
Revenue will be generated from platforms like Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud, Pandora, Sound Exchange, iTunes, Amazon Music and many others through acquired writer and co-publishing rights and producer royalties.
