ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund Acquires Royalties from Downtown Records
(July 2023 – Calgary, Alberta) ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund is pleased to announce it has acquired music royalties from Downtown Records. The deal includes the label’s share of royalties from its joint venture with Interscope Records, which ended in 2018, consisting of a vast catalogue of songs performed by artists including Electric Guest, Goldroom, Nick Murphy, Smino and others.
“We are thrilled to add these music royalties to Crescendo’s portfolio,” said David Vankka, Portfolio Manager of ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund. “We are excited to be connected to a roster of artists discovered and developed by Downtown and Interscope Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group, representing our commitment to acquiring high-quality music royalties.”
Qualia Legacy Advisors, a boutique media and entertainment advisory firm, led by Arnaud Levy and Ben Mogil, represented Downtown.
