ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund Acquires Rights form Production and Songwriting Duo Mike & Keys

(November 2023 – Calgary, Alberta) ICM Crescendo Music Royalty Fund acquired writer and publishing royalty rights to a collection of hit songs from 6x Grammy-nominated, multiplatinum-selling production and songwriting duo Mike & Keys.

Mike & Keys lead the charge of new wave West Coast music and are the visionary minds behind the production on the late Nipsey Hussle’s 2018 Grammy-nominated album Victory Lap. In addition to Victory Lap, Mike and Keys have cuts on 49 other Nipsey tracks dating back to 2011, including top tracks “Checc Me Out”, “Dedication”, “Hussle and Motivate” and “Last Time That I Checc’d”.

The Grammy-nominated duo has worked with Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, T.I., Dave East, Blxst, Dom Kennedy, BJ The Chicago Kid, and The Game. Hip hop continues to be the most consumed genre by streaming metrics globally, representing 27% of total streaming volume (2023 Luminate Midyear Music Report).
