ICM Group Completes Renovations at Carnegie Point Office Building
ICM announced today that it has completed a building-wide renovation and rebranding of its Carnegie Point office building. Purchased by ICM in 2016, Carnegie Point is one of the area’s best-located office properties at 6101 Carnegie Boulevard in Charlotte’s famed SouthPark submarket.
The building-wide renovation included significant capital improvements and the creation of building amenities. The renovation honors the rich materials used in its original construction while adding significant modern-day amenities. A full building common area renovation, restroom renovation, redesigned and upgraded entrances and lobbies, and base building system modifications are some of the major improvements completed. An indoor coffee bar/lounge was created, along with an outdoor deck-style tenant lounge.
“We tailored the renovation to meet the needs of today’s tenants in our quest to deliver an improved property that provides an exceptional experience at great value. Rebranding the property is our way of shepherding in a new era of the building’s celebrated history,” said ICM’s Managing Director Andrew Webb.
Carnegie Point is strategically located at the intersection of Carnegie Boulevard and Congress Street in the heart of the coveted SouthPark office submarket. With a number of nearby retail amenities and direct access to uptown Charlotte, the building maintains superior accessibility and visibility. Its central location allows companies to access multiple talent pools in order to attract and retain employees from all areas of the metro. The building includes a five-story tower, abundant covered parking and stunning views of the SouthPark skyline.
