(July 2026 – Calgary, Alberta) ICM Asset Management (ICM) is pleased to announce the launch of ICM Investment Management Asia Ltd. (ICM Asia), marking an exciting new chapter in the firm’s continued evolution as a global multi-strategy alternative investment manager.

Headquartered in the heart of Hong Kong’s financial district, ICM Asia strengthens the firm’s presence across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, creating a dedicated regional presence to strengthen relationships with family offices, wealth managers, institutional partners, and strategic partners across the region.

A Legacy of Stewardship

With roots tracing back to the late 1970s, the foundations of ICM were established through the stewardship of capital for high-net-worth European families investing in Canadian and U.S. real estate.

Today, ICM manages more than $2 billion in assets on behalf of more than 20,000 investors, with an integrated platform spanning real estate, music royalties, and private credit. While ICM has grown significantly over the years, its long-term perspective, disciplined approach, and commitment to trusted partnerships remain constant, continuing to shape every relationship and opportunity the firm pursues.

Vision and Leadership

ICM Asia is led by Stanley Kung, Principal & Managing Director, Asia, and Pablo Romero, Head of Global Brand | Principal & Co-Managing Director, Asia. Together, Stanley and Pablo bring 30+ years of regional financial services, brand development, and strategic partner experience to lead the firm’s APAC market strategy. 

Working closely with ICM’s global executive team, Stanley and Pablo will lead regional market outreach and partner relations, supported by the deep technical expertise of colleagues across the broader firm in Asia and North America.

Over the coming weeks, the firm will introduce the broader ICM Asia team, highlighting the experienced professionals supporting ICM’s commitment to the region.

Looking Ahead

Marking the official launch of ICM Asia, the firm will begin a series of executive introduction sessions and regional networking activities across the APAC region over the coming months. These engagements will introduce ICM’s history and track record, core values, and platform capabilities, while deepening connections with institutional partners, family offices, and wealth managers.
