ICM Asset Management Announces the Sale of Hamburgo 26

(September 2025 – Mexico City) – ICM Asset Management (“ICM”) announces the sale of Hamburgo 26, a historic boutique coworking office property located in the heart of Mexico City’s Central Business District.

Positioned steps from the city’s primary commercial corridors, Hamburgo 26 combines preserved architectural character with modern workplace features. The asset was comprehensively refurbished following acquisition in 2018 to enhance functionality while maintaining its heritage appeal.

The transaction reflects ICM’s disciplined, normal-course approach to portfolio management. While the property benefits from a desirable location, standalone office and coworking assets struggled in Mexico City with the onset of the pandemic and the rising interest rate environment from 2022 to 2024. This sale underscores the firm’s ability to proactively manage capital, recycle proceeds from non-core assets, and sharpen portfolio focus on sectors where ICM sees stronger long-term fundamentals.

“This transaction highlights ICM’s proactive approach to asset management. The strength of location and quality of the asset allowed us to achieve a sale price that we felt good about in the context of today’s challenging office environment. The sale proceeds will be redeployed into our industrial and hospitality projects here in Mexico, property types that we feel will perform well in the years ahead.”
